Today we ran into this owww so cute desktop wallpaper of Wall-E and EVE, where Wall-E says “I’m a PC” and EVE says “I’m a Mac”. Adobrable!
So we decided to put them on our iPhones, so we made this wallpaper pack consisting of EVE alone, Wall-E alone and both of them together. We hope you’ll like’em as much as we do ;)

Few weeks ago, my sister got a notebook. The notebook came with FreeDOS operating system, so I had to install something else for her. I was in doubt between XP and Vista, since I’m using XP for ages now, and I personally never switched to Vista.
But, WTH, let’s try with Vista. It works like a charm, and I’ll probably switch too (until I get a Mac :) ).
The first thing after the OS and drivers installation was the browser. I wanted to download Firefox, but in order to do that, I had to use Internet Explorer. You’ve gotta love the irony :)
So, I got to the Firefox homepage with IE, and this is what I got :D

Well, this site had a brake for about two weeks. There are a few reasons, and I want to tell my readers which are they and how am I planning to fix that.
As you might, or might not know, I am a student on University of Zagreb here in Croatia. I’m on my final year in college now, and if everything goes well, I will have bachelor’s degree somewhere in summer/fall this year.
Because of that I have to know my priorities. College is my first priority, and during past few weeks, I have had some exams that needed to be solved, and here I am now :)
Also, there were some troubles with the hosting company of this blog, so I decided to change it. While you’re reading this, everything is going smooth on new servers with a new hosting company, but there are still some sites that need to be transferred to their new home.
Well now, since you know why there were no new posts, I can move to the final part of this announcement - authors.
As I mentioned – I’m a student with a few exams away from my degree. So, from now on (until the summer) I will not be able to give too much amount of time to my blogging activities, including LOL Gadgets blog. So, with this post I am looking for potential authors for this blog. Things would work something like this:
Notice that there would be no payment, since everything here is based on a good will, yours and mine. This blog is run by a single person, and there is no big blogging networks behind it (for now ;) )

Yeah, we have a brand new look! The old one was good, but…
First of all, it was temporary. We wanted to start with this blog ASAP, and we didn’t had much time to focus on design. So, we installed that one, which served us well for almost a month now. This one better suits our needs, so – here it is.
There are some new stuff that we like, and we think that you will love too. The homepage is now more compact. The thing we think that will help this blog to become more popular are the little social buttons inside every post, which allows You to easily share the joy of a certain LOL Gadget on Twitter, Facebook, Digg, Delicious and StumbleUpon.
And there is one new thing to mention – except design – you can now add you own LOL Gadgets that you found somewhere online! You just fill out the submission form, and we’ll get notified about it. Once we approve that gadget, we’ll publish it, you’ll get notification about it and full credit for finding it.
That way you are directly helping us and you’re becoming a part of this blog.

First of all, since it’s first day of 2009, let me wish you all the best in this year. And now, I would like to describe where you are.
LOL Gadgets blog is a place where you will be able to find all those weird gadgets, that have very little or no sense at all. The mission of this blog is to end up in your bookmarks or in your RSS reader of choice, so that every day (once or twice a day), you get familiar with some very weird stuff.
It’s like those comics sites, but here I’ll post gadgets, obviously.
My name is Nikola, and I’m a 21-year old student from Croatia (that’s in Europe ;) ). Although I don’t own too many gadgets (only an mp3 player and two cell-phones) I like to say that I am a gadget freak. I like to look them, touch them, play with them and they are things that can make me really happy! And hence this blog.
And one more thing – this blog is not finished. On the contrary, I’m going to add some new features every now and then, play with it “under the hood” and stuff like that.
